Sarcoma of The Uterus

Abstract
|
|
|
Sarcoma of the uterus is a highly malignant tumor of mesodermal origin. Four cases of sarcoma of the uterus were encountered during the past nine years. One was primary and three were associated with fibromyomas. Sarcoma of the uterus constituted 1.04 per cent of uterine malignancies and 0.50 per cent of fibromyomas of the uterus.
The patholoigical characteristics, age incidence and methods of treatment were discussed.
